Welcome
Hello and welcome to my practice. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. With a compassionate and non-judgemental approach, I help clients navigate challenge, build resilience, and foster personal growth.
About me
Hi, I'm Charlotte, a qualified counsellor offering a professional and confidential service, covering a range of difficulties.
I think in life we all need that someone who we can stand shoulder to shoulder with so that we can be heard , have our feelings and thoughts validated and to open up our peripheral vision.

My Approach
I take a person-centred approach, combining cognitive- behavioural techniques and mindfulness practices to customise therapy based on each client's individual needs and goals.
Skills & Experience
My personal life experiences have profoundly shaped who I am today and inspired my path into counselling. Having received counselling myself, I found it to be a truly valuable and transformative - helping me to grow, heal, and to understand myself better .
With years of experience in supporting others, I began informally as a confidante for friends and family, then moved into a more formal role, where I volunteered with Prism a charity specialising in bereavement support. This experience strengthened my passion and commitment to helping others through difficult times.
Since then, I have become a registered counsellor and currently work in schools, supporting young people with their emotional and mental health needs. My knowledge and experience have grown and evolved over the years, forming the foundation of my unique, integrative approach to therapy. I draw on a range of therapeutic models, tailoring my support to meet each individual's needs with empathy, understanding, and care.
My knowledge and experience, developed over the years, is all part of the mix when it comes to offering my unique style of integrative therapy.
Qualifications include:
level 4 Diploma in person centred counselling
Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT) Diploma
Diploma in Grief & Bereavement
As a BACP member, I’m committed to ongoing professional development and regular supervision to ensure safe, effective practice. I also hold current professional insurance.

My Services
I can offer you a free 35 minute initial consultation so that we can meet and see if we can work together. Research has shown that one of the most important parts of counselling is the relationship between you and your counsellor so in the initial consultation you can see if I am the right counsellor for you.
